A transfer kit is the set of replacement parts for the image transfer system in an HP Color LaserJet: the transfer belt plus a transfer roller, and in most of our kits, the tray rollers too. HP lists the kit for the Color LaserJet Enterprise M651 as a "replacement image transfer belt and roller" (HP M651 user guide).

What HP counts as a transfer kit
HP's parts lists describe these kits plainly:
- For the Color LaserJet Enterprise M552 and M553, HP lists part B5L24-67901 as the "ITB and T2 Roller kit": a replacement transfer belt and secondary transfer roller (HP M552/M553 user guide).
- For the Color LaserJet Enterprise M651, HP lists CE249A as the image transfer kit: a replacement image transfer belt and roller (HP M651 user guide).
- HP's replacement steps for the Color LaserJet CP4025 and CP4525 cover swapping both the transfer unit and the secondary transfer roller from a new transfer kit (HP support).
- On the Color LaserJet Pro M452, M377 and M477, HP's repair manual lists RM2-6454 as the intermediate transfer belt itself (HP repair manual), which is why we sell it as a belt, not a full kit.

A transfer kit is a different part from a maintenance kit. HP's M651 parts list, for example, has a separate maintenance/fuser kit (CE246A) and image transfer kit (CE249A) (HP M651 user guide). Transfer kit questions
Is a transfer kit the same thing as a maintenance kit?
No. HP lists them as separate parts. On the Color LaserJet Enterprise M651, the maintenance/fuser kit is CE246A and the image transfer kit is CE249A (HP M651 user guide).
Does the RM2-6454 come with rollers?
No. Its product page lists one transfer belt assembly, a pair of gloves and an instruction manual. The other parts in the table are full kits that include a secondary transfer roller and other rollers.
