HP 952 vs 952XL: the 952XL is the high-yield version, so it prints more pages per cartridge. Cartra sells the compatible 952XL only, not the standard 952.
The difference between HP 952 and 952XL is page yield, not the printer family. Cartra carries two 952XL listings: the 952XL 4-pack ($59.89) and the 952XL 5-pack ($69.89). We do not sell the standard 952.

Which should you buy?
- Want one of each color? The 952XL 4-pack is $59.89 and includes one black, one cyan, one yellow and one magenta cartridge.
- Print a lot of black? The 952XL 5-pack is $69.89 and includes two black cartridges plus one cyan, one yellow and one magenta.
- Only print once in a while? A standard 952 is the lower-yield option, but Cartra does not carry it. If you want the XL anyway, either listing above is available.
- Printer model ends in "e"? Check whether HP+ is enabled on it first. The steps are on the 952XL product page.
